Chrysalis is the distribution gateway to China for the world’s leading specialist beauty brands. Every company starts somewhere and ours began with Joyce Beauty, a pioneer in high-end retail distribution in Greater China. Today, it has more than 30 brands in its portfolio which we operate. That makes us the only distributors in China with their own established retail channel. But success in China is about a strength and presence across the board. To be a true omnichannel partner it’s about paving the way for brands to enjoy a fully integrated online and offline experience. That’s what we do.

Our established retail network has been operating in China and Hong Kong for more than 50 years. Our pan-Asia capabilities also help brands align their retail presence across key markets in Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

Taking a digital-first approach to brands, Allen brings with him more than 15 years’ experience in EC technology development with a focus on big data and its power to achieve meaningful automation to both offline and online retail operations.

Her merchandising success and operational know-how as president of Imaginex Group have put her at the forefront of retail success and innovation. Miriam Bray

CEO of Chrysalis & COO of AdV Investment

Miriam Bray is a veteran in luxury brand management. Born in China and educated in the UK, she is expertly positioned to serve the needs of an international brand with the mindset of a local consumer. Equal parts grassroots entrepreneur and established brand board member, her vision has helped guide the development of luxury icons in China such as Rolls Royce and Max Mara.
